Aleš Lampret, Head of Logistics at Kemofarmacija, McKesson Europe’s wholesale business in Slovenia, was awarded “Logistics Manager of 2014” for his comprehensive management of logistics.
Kemofarmacija has more than 160 employees and more than 17,000 products in stock regardless of orders, more than 400 suppliers and more than 1,000 customers: all public and hospital pharmacies in Slovenia, the majority of health clinics, veterinary offices and specialised stores. The call centre receives more than 700 calls a day with around 450 orders. More than 90 percent of orders come online.

In his acceptance speech, 49-year-old Aleš Lampret emphasised: “This award is a recognition and encouragement for all my colleagues to continue to improve.” In total, Kemofarmacija employs 89 colleagues in its warehouse which is located in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
