How does McKesson Europe take responsibility?

For us, responsibility means creating added value for communities and our company – while protecting the environment.

How do we implement Corporate Responsibility at McKesson Europe? And how do we take action to make a difference in the long term?

… by ensuring that our work is value-oriented, wherever and whenever it takes placeback to top

… by ensuring that our work is value-oriented, wherever and whenever it takes place

Serving as our compass in this endeavour are our ICARE shared principles: Integrity, Customer First, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. The McKesson Europe Code of Conduct (PDF 4.8 MB) guides us in our daily dealings with our colleagues and business partners. It ensures that all employees act in accordance with high legal and ethical standards.

… by applying our efforts exactly where we can make a differenceback to top

… by applying our efforts exactly where we can make a difference

To this end, we examined where in our value chain we have an impact on the environment and society, and what this impact is – whether we are dealing with negative effects that need to be reduced, or with positive added value that we create for our patients, our employees and the community.

The result of this analysis is our Corporate Responsibility strategy. It consists of three fields of action:

Product Quality and Patient Safety

Sustainable quality and supply chain management for greater sustainability in healthcare.

Eco-Efficient Operations and Transportation

Protection of the environment and climate through effective energy management, optimised transport logistics and efficient use of resources.

Better Health for Our Employees and Communities

With logistics know-how, pharmaceutical expertise, local presence and commitment, we inspire colleagues, customers and patients alike.

Our operations have an impact on the environment and society. And that's exactly where we come in: we have defined three fields of action in which we are active both global and in the individual countries where we have a presence, and organise the work we do each day in a way that is sustainable and conserves resources.
